About Us
LaveenClean is a 501(c)3 non-profit (pending), volunteer-run organization committed to inspiring and
educating residents of and visitors to Laveen to reduce littering and unsightliness in our community. Our vision
is to keep Laveen a healthy, beautiful place to live, work and play.

We will achieve this vision via three initiatives:
​
1. Awareness: We will increase awareness of the importance of reducing littering via public information
efforts including posting of yard signs, and reach-out events to local organizations (e.g. HOAs) and schools.
​
2. Accountability: Much litter in the Laveen area is contributed or not addressed by groups responsible for
those areas, including public (City of Phoenix, Maricopa County) and private organizations and businesses.
We will monitor these areas and contact appropriate parties when the areas need cleaning up.
​
3. Action: We will support efforts by collaborating groups and local residents to reduce litter by advertising
and potentially providing resources for these events.
